Praise of Ācāra as the Basis of Longevity, Fame, and Prosperity
न ब्राह्मणान् परिवदेन्नक्षत्राणि न निर्दिशेत् । तिथिं पक्षस्य न ब्रूयात् तथास्यायुर्न रिष्यते
na brāhmaṇān parivaden nakṣatrāṇi na nirdiśet | tithiṁ pakṣasya na brūyāt tathāsyāyur na riṣyate ||
ភីṣ្មៈបានមានព្រះវាចា៖ កុំប្រមាថព្រះព្រាហ្មណ៍។ កុំដើរទៅតាមផ្ទះៗ ដើម្បីចង្អុលបង្ហាញនក្សត្រ (nakṣatra) ឬប្រកាសទីថិ (tithi) នៃពាក់កណ្ដាលខែ។ ដោយការជៀសវាងអំពើទាំងនេះ អាយុកាលរបស់មនុស្សមិនត្រូវបានបន្ថយឡើយ។
