Householder Duties and Daily Offerings
इदमस्ति गृहे महमिति नित्यं निवेदयेत् । ते यद् वदेयुस्तत् कुर्यादिति धर्मों विधीयते
idam asti gṛhe mama iti nityaṃ nivedayet | te yad vadeyus tat kuryād iti dharmo vidhīyate |
វាយុទេវបានមានព្រះបន្ទូលថា៖ «គេគួរនិយាយជាប្រចាំដោយភាពទន់ភ្លន់ថា ‘វត្ថុនេះមាននៅក្នុងផ្ទះខ្ញុំ’។ អ្វីដែលមនុស្សចាស់ទុំ ឬភ្ញៀវទាំងនោះនិយាយឲ្យធ្វើ គេត្រូវធ្វើតាម—នេះហើយជាច្បាប់នៃធម៌។ តាមន័យនៃសីលធម៌ អ្នកណាមិនស្ថិតនៅក្នុងផ្ទះយើងជានិច្ច អ្នកនោះត្រូវបានចាត់ទុកថាជា អតិថិ (atithi)។ ដូច្នេះ ចំពោះគ្រូ ឪពុក មិត្តដែលទុកចិត្តបាន និងភ្ញៀវ គេគួរផ្តល់អ្វីដែលមាននៅក្នុងផ្ទះ ហើយអញ្ជើញឲ្យទទួលយក; បន្ទាប់មកត្រូវប្រព្រឹត្តតាមការណែនាំរបស់ពួកគេយ៉ាងត្រឹមត្រូវ។ ដោយការប្រព្រឹត្តដូចនេះ គេរក្សាធម៌តាមរយៈការស្វាគមន៍ ការគោរព និងការស្តាប់បង្គាប់ចំពោះការណែនាំត្រឹមត្រូវ»។
