Cause of Kalmāṣapāda’s Niyoga under a Curse
तस्यां संजनयामास कुरुं संवरणो नृपः । तपत्यां तपतां श्रेष्ठ तापत्यस्त्वं ततोडर्जुन
tasyāṁ sañjanayāmāsa kuruṁ saṁvaraṇo nṛpaḥ | tapatyāṁ tapatāṁ śreṣṭha tāpatyās tvaṁ tato ’rjuna ||
ព្រះមហាក្សត្រ សំវរណ (Saṃvaraṇa) បានបង្កើតកូនប្រុសឈ្មោះ កុរុ (Kuru) ក្នុងព្រះមហេសី តបតី (Tapatī)។ ដូច្នេះ ឱ អរជុន (Arjuna) អ្នកដ៏ឧត្តមក្នុងចំណោមអ្នកតបស្យា—ព្រោះអ្នកកើតក្នុងវង្សនោះហើយ អ្នកត្រូវបានហៅថា ‘តាបត្យ’ (Tāpatya)។
