उमामहेश्वरव्रतं—पञ्चाक्षरमन्त्रस्य माहात्म्यं, न्यासः, जपविधिः, सदाचारः, विनियोगः

छन्दो देवी च गायत्री परमात्माधिदेवता उदात्तः प्रथमस्तद्वच् चतुर्थश् च द्वितीयकः

chando devī ca gāyatrī paramātmādhidevatā udāttaḥ prathamastadvac caturthaś ca dvitīyakaḥ

ទេវីដែលគ្រប់គ្រងឆន្ទៈ (មេត្រ) គឺ កាយត្រី; ហើយ ព្រះអាត្មាអធិឧត្តម ជាអធិទេវតា។ សូរឧដាត្ត ជាលំដាប់ទីមួយ; ដូចគ្នានេះ លំដាប់ទីបួន និងលំដាប់ទីពីរ ក៏ត្រូវអនុវត្តតាម។
