Suta Goswami (narrating the teaching addressed to the Devas)
It emphasizes that śuśrūṣā—humble service and disciplined attendance in Śiva’s path—functions as a liberating practice, weakening pāśa (bondage) and moving the pashu (soul) toward Pati (Śiva).
By implying liberation from paśutva through divine discipline, it presents Śiva-tattva as Pati—the supreme Lord whose grace and prescribed caryā (right conduct) free the bound soul from limitation and impurity.
Śuśrūṣā (devoted service/attentive discipline) as a core limb of Shaiva caryā aligned with Pāśupata training—practicing divine conduct that purifies and prepares for higher realization.
