शाक्तेय उवाच अम्ब मङ्गलविभूषणैर् विना देहयष्टिरनघे न शोभते वक्तुमर्हसि तवाद्य कारणं चन्द्रबिंबरहितेव शर्वरी
śākteya uvāca amba maṅgalavibhūṣaṇair vinā dehayaṣṭiranaghe na śobhate vaktumarhasi tavādya kāraṇaṃ candrabiṃbarahiteva śarvarī
សាក្តេយៈបានមានព្រះវាចា៖ «មាតា អ្នកគ្មានបាប—គ្មានគ្រឿងអលង្ការមង្គល រូបរាងស្ដើងរបស់អ្នកមិនភ្លឺរលោងទេ។ សូមប្រាប់ហេតុផលនៃសភាពបច្ចុប្បន្ននេះ; អ្នកដូចយប់ដែលខ្វះព្រះចន្ទមណ្ឌល»។
Śākteya
It frames auspicious adornment (maṅgala) as an outward sign of inner śakti and divine presence—hinting that when Shakti’s radiance is withdrawn, the world’s “beauty” and auspiciousness also diminish, a key idea behind honoring Shakti alongside the Linga.
By comparing the Mother’s state to a moonless night, it implies that the light of consciousness and auspiciousness arises when Pati (Śiva) and Śakti are in harmonious manifestation; the absence of that radiance signals a concealed cause in the divine order.
Indirectly, it points to maṅgala-upacāras (auspicious offerings and adornments) in Śiva-Śakti worship—external ritual mirroring inner Pāśupata discipline where the pashu seeks grace to remove pasha and restore spiritual “luster.”
