वसंते कपिलः सूर्यो ग्रीष्मे काञ्चनसप्रभः श्वेतो वर्षासु वर्णेन पाण्डुः शरदि भास्करः

Transliteration

vasaṃte kapilaḥ sūryo grīṣme kāñcanasaprabhaḥ śveto varṣāsu varṇena pāṇḍuḥ śaradi bhāskaraḥ

Translation

នៅរដូវវស្សន្ត (និទាឃរដូវ) ព្រះអាទិត្យមានពណ៌ត្នោតលឿង; នៅរដូវគ្រីष្ម (ក្តៅ) ព្រះអាទិត្យភ្លឺដូចមាស; នៅរដូវវស្សា ព្រះអាទិត្យមានពណ៌ស; ហើយនៅរដូវសរទ (ស្លឹកឈើជ្រុះ) ព្រះភាស្ករ មានពណ៌ស្លេក។ ដូច្នេះអំណាចដែលមានលំដាប់របស់ព្រះអម្ចាស់ ត្រូវបានឃើញជាគុណលក្ខណៈនៃកាលៈដែលប្រែប្រួល។
