Kurukṣetra Pilgrimage: Sages Praise Kṛṣṇa; Vasudeva Inquires on Karma; Viṣṇu-yajña Performed
श्रीशुक उवाच एवं सौहृदशैथिल्यचित्त आनकदुन्दुभि: । रुरोद तत्कृतां मैत्रीं स्मरन्नश्रुविलोचन: ॥ ६५ ॥
śrī-śuka uvāca evaṁ sauhṛda-śaithilya- citta ānakadundubhiḥ ruroda tat-kṛtāṁ maitrīṁ smarann aśru-vilocanaḥ
ព្រះសុកទេវៈ គោស្វាមី បានមានព្រះបន្ទូលថា៖ «ដោយចិត្តទន់ភ្លន់ពីសេចក្តីស្និទ្ធស្នាល អានកទុន្ទុភិ វសុទេវៈបានយំ។ ភ្នែករបស់គាត់ពេញដោយទឹកភ្នែក ខណៈដែលគាត់រំលឹកមិត្តភាពដែលនន្ទបានបង្ហាញចំពោះគាត់»។
This verse shows Vasudeva’s heart melting in affectionate gratitude; remembering the kindness shown to him, he weeps—teaching that genuine relationships in bhakti are marked by deep appreciation and tender-heartedness.
His heart became softened by renewed intimacy and he remembered the friendship and goodwill others had shown him; overwhelmed by that remembrance, his eyes filled with tears.
