Yudhiṣṭhira’s Rājasūya Resolve and the Slaying of Jarāsandha
sañcintyārī-vadhopāyaṁ bhīmasyāmogha-darśanaḥ darśayām āsa viṭapaṁ pāṭayann iva saṁjñayā
In this verse, Kṛṣṇa is described as amogha-darśana—unfailing in insight—who, after considering the method to kill the enemy, signals Bhīma through a gesture (showing a branch as if to split it), indicating the decisive tactic.
The verse highlights Kṛṣṇa’s discreet guidance—he indicates the method nonverbally (saṁjñayā), suggesting a tactical, timely instruction during an intense conflict where direct speech may be unnecessary or impractical.
Act with discernment: reflect first (sañcintya), then communicate clearly—even subtly—so that action is effective, focused, and aligned with dharma rather than impulsive reaction.
