そのときアンダカは戦のただ中で、優れた武器をもってフターシャナ(火神)を打った。打たれたアグニはシャンバラを放ち、たちまちアンダカへと突進した。突入して来るところを、アンダカは再びパリガ(鉄の棍棒)でその頭を打ち据えた。ダーナヴァの主に打たれ、アグニは恐れをなして戦場から逃走した。
