Yogatattva Upanishad — Verse 77

यथा मूढो यथा मूर्खो यथा बधिर एव वा ।

तथा वर्तेत लोकस्य स्वसामर्थ्यस्य गुप्तये ॥

यथा । मूढः । यथा । मूर्खः । यथा । बधिरः । एव । वा ।

तथा । वर्तेत । लोकस्य । स्व-सामर्थ्यस्य । गुप्तये ।

yathā mūḍho yathā mūrkho yathā badhira eva vā |

tathā varteta lokasya svasāmarthyasya guptaye ||

鈍い者のように、愚かな者のように、あるいはまことに耳の聞こえぬ者のように——世に対してはそのように振る舞い、自らの力を秘して守るべきである。

As one who is dull, as one who is foolish, or as one who is indeed deaf—so should one behave toward the world, for the concealment of one’s own powers.
