欲望から解き放たれるとき、彼は不死を得る。あらゆる渇愛を離れ、それ(欲の絆)を断ち切ったなら、もはや縛られない――これぞウパニシャッドの言葉である。

He attains immortality when he is released from desire. Having become free from all cravings, having cut that (bond of desire), he is not bound—thus (says) the Upaniṣad.

Moksha (liberation) through kāma-kṣaya (cessation of desire) and sarveṣaṇā-tyāga (renunciation of all cravings)Mahavakya: Indirect: supports the realization implied by mahāvākyas (e.g., ‘ahaṃ brahmāsmi’) by prescribing the inner qualification—freedom from desire—needed for steady abidance in non-dual knowledge.AtharvaChandas: Anuṣṭubh (śloka-like)
