नारीयं मम साध्वी च प्राणेभ्योऽपि गरीयसी । मच्चित्ता मद्गतप्राणा नित्यं मम हिते रता । अनया चिंतितं ब्रह्मन्सर्वं विस्तरतो वद
nārīyaṃ mama sādhvī ca prāṇebhyo'pi garīyasī | maccittā madgataprāṇā nityaṃ mama hite ratā | anayā ciṃtitaṃ brahmansarvaṃ vistarato vada
「この女人—我が貞淑なる妻—は命にも勝って愛おしい。彼女の心は我に定まり、その息吹さえ我に捧げられ、常に我が益のために励んでいる。婆羅門よ、彼女が思い定めたことを、すべて詳らかに語ってくれ。」
