Pulastya
Tirtha: Arbuda-kṣetra
Type: kshetra
Scene: Namuci collapses like a wind-snapped tree, darkness enveloping him; then, in a surprising turn, his spirit/form bows to Hara with folded hands; Maheśvara’s face softens, granting approval as a calm radiance replaces the gloom.
Even after conflict, turning to Śiva with truthfulness and surrender becomes a cause for divine pleasure and grace.
The Bhadrakarṇa sacred complex (lake and liṅga) is glorified through the episode of Śiva’s grace connected to this locale.
An implied act of namaskāra (bowing) to Hara is shown; no formal vow, charity, or bathing rite is specified.
