Transliteration

na ca bhaktyā mahārāja pakṣiyonisamudbhavaḥ | athāsau mṛtyumāpannaḥ kālena mahatā śukaḥ

Translation

大王よ、かの鸚鵡は鳥の胎より生まれながら、なおバクティ（信愛）による果報を得てはいなかった。やがて長き時を経て、そのシュカは死に至った。
