ततःप्रभृति लिंगस्य मर्त्त्ये पूजा व्यजायत । पुरासीच्छंकरः पूज्यो यथान्ये त्रिदशालयाः
tataḥprabhṛti liṃgasya marttye pūjā vyajāyata | purāsīcchaṃkaraḥ pūjyo yathānye tridaśālayāḥ
その時より、人々の間にリンガの礼拝が起こった。古えには、シャンカラは他の神々が天上の宮殿で礼拝されるのと同じようにのみ礼拝されていた。
