उद्द्योतं कुरुते सूर्यो यादृक्तस्याभिसंमतः । यज्ञभागं विनाऽप्येष भयात्पार्थिवसत्तम
uddyotaṃ kurute sūryo yādṛktasyābhisaṃmataḥ | yajñabhāgaṃ vinā'pyeṣa bhayātpārthivasattama
王の中の最勝者よ、スーリヤでさえ、彼が認めたほどにのみ光を放つ。しかも恐れのゆえに、祭祀の分け前（ヤジュニャ・バーガ）を得ずとも、その務めをなお続ける。
