ययातिरुवाच । किमर्थं भगवन्वह्निः पुरा नष्टो द्विजोत्तम । कथं तत्रैव लब्धस्तु कौतुकं मे महामुने
yayātiruvāca | kimarthaṃ bhagavanvahniḥ purā naṣṭo dvijottama | kathaṃ tatraiva labdhastu kautukaṃ me mahāmune
ヤヤーティは言った。「いかなる理由により、尊き御方よ、火（ヴァフニ）は昔失われたのですか、二度生まれの最勝者よ。しかも、どのようにしてその地で再び見いだされたのですか。大牟尼よ、この疑問が私に起こりました。」
