na tathā strīṣu no bhoge nāśvayāne na vāraṇe | tasyābhūdanurāgaśca yathā mṛgavimarddane

Translation

彼は女や享楽にも、馬や乗り物にも、象にも、それほど執着しなかった。彼の情熱は、狩りで鹿を打ち倒すことにこそ向けられていた。
