ततस्ते सैनिका राजन्हतशेषाः सुदुःखिताः । स्वगृहाणि ययुस्तत्र यथा वृत्तं जने पुरे
Transliteration
tataste sainikā rājanhataśeṣāḥ suduḥkhitāḥ | svagṛhāṇi yayustatra yathā vṛttaṃ jane pure
Translation
そののち、生き残った兵たちは、王よ、深い悲しみに沈みつつそれぞれの家へ帰り、都の人々にそこで起こった次第を語り告げた。
