Transliteration

na taṃ visarjayāmāsa jarayāpi pariplutam | uttaṃko'pi suśiṣyatvānno vetti palitaṃ śiraḥ

Translation

師は老いに覆われても彼を去らせなかった。ウッタンカもまた、まことに優れた弟子であったゆえ、師の頭に白髪が混じったことさえ気づかなかった。
