तस्य दुःखं तथा क्षिप्रं गौतमाय निेवेदितम् । गौतमेन तथेत्युक्त्वा मृदुवाण्या स भाषितः
tasya duḥkhaṃ tathā kṣipraṃ gautamāya niेveditam | gautamena tathetyuktvā mṛduvāṇyā sa bhāṣitaḥ
彼はその悲しみを急ぎゴータマに告げた。ゴータマは「然り」と答え、ついで柔らかな言葉で彼に語りかけた。
