Transliteration

dṛṣṭvā daityānpurā devairnirjitānnṛpasattama | cintayāmāsa medhāvī bhārgavastānprati dvijaḥ

Translation

王の中の最勝者よ、昔、ダイティヤ（Daitya）たちが神々に打ち破られたのを見て、賢きバールガヴァ（Bhārgava）の婆羅門は、彼らにいかに応ずべきかと思索し始めた。
