Pārthiva-pratimā Pūjā-vidhāna — Procedure for Worship of an Earthen Icon
स्वचिह्नपूजनात्प्रीतश्चिह्नकार्यं न वीयते । चिह्नकार्यं तु जन्मादिजन्माद्यं विनिवर्तते
svacihnapūjanātprītaścihnakāryaṃ na vīyate | cihnakāryaṃ tu janmādijanmādyaṃ vinivartate
自らの聖なる徴を礼拝されて喜ぶ（シヴァ）は、その徴より生ずる霊験の力が決して衰えぬようにし、さらにその霊験こそが、無始の生の連鎖と、再生を招く諸因を断ち滅ぼす。
