Tattva Level: pashu
Shiva Form: Dakṣiṇāmūrti
It emphasizes niyama (regulated discipline): steady daily japa purifies the pashu (bound soul) and makes the mind fit for Shiva-bhakti and higher Shaiva contemplation.
Mantra-japa is presented as preparatory purification that supports Saguna Shiva worship—approaching the Linga with inner steadiness, clarity, and devotional focus rather than mere outer ritual.
Daily Gāyatrī japa in proper order, progressing from a regular count (100) to an extended vrata-like practice culminating in 100,000 repetitions, undertaken with disciplined timing and observance.
