तपः–मन्त्रजप–ध्यानविधिः
Protocol of Tapas, Mantra-Japa, and Śiva-Dhyāna
शिव उवाच । स्वस्थानं गच्छत सुराः सर्वे सत्यन्न संशयः । सर्वथाहं करिष्यामि कार्यं वो नात्र संशय
śiva uvāca | svasthānaṃ gacchata surāḥ sarve satyanna saṃśayaḥ | sarvathāhaṃ kariṣyāmi kāryaṃ vo nātra saṃśaya
シヴァは言われた。「神々よ、皆それぞれの住処へ帰りなさい。これは真実であり、疑いはない。いかなる形であれ、汝らの務めは我が成し遂げよう。これにも疑いはない。」
Lord Shiva
Tattva Level: pati
Shiva Form: Īśāna
Role: liberating
The verse highlights Śiva as Pati (the Lord) whose will is unfailing: when beings surrender their anxiety to Him, He removes doubt and completes what is necessary for dharma, urging them to rest in trust rather than fear.
It reflects Saguna Śiva’s compassionate, personal role as protector and guide—qualities devotees approach through Liṅga-worship, where faith (śraddhā) in Śiva’s assurance becomes central to devotion and stability of mind.
A practical takeaway is to cultivate niścaya (certainty) by japa of the Pañcākṣarī—“Om Namaḥ Śivāya”—and offer mental surrender (śaraṇāgati), releasing doubt while trusting Śiva to “accomplish the task.”
