सद्यो महासुरव्याधो देवसिंहो दिवाकरः । विबुधामचरः श्रेष्ठः सर्वदेवोत्तमोत्तम
sadyo mahāsuravyādho devasiṃho divākaraḥ | vibudhāmacaraḥ śreṣṭhaḥ sarvadevottamottama
たちまち彼は大いなる阿修羅討伐者となり—神々の中の獅子、太陽のごとく輝き、賢者の群れにおいて最も先んじて動く者、最上にして最勝、あらゆる神々の上に立つ至高者となった。

The verse praises the manifest (saguṇa) glory of Shiva as the supreme protector who destroys demonic bondage and illumines consciousness, affirming Pati as the highest reality above all lesser divine powers.
Such epithets are typical of Linga-centered devotion in the Kotirudrasaṃhitā: the Linga is worshipped as the visible focus through which Shiva’s protective, radiant, demon-destroying power is experienced by devotees.
Meditate on Shiva as divākara (inner light) while repeating the Pañcākṣarī “Om Namaḥ Śivāya,” and perform simple Linga-pūjā with water and bhasma (Tripuṇḍra) as an act of surrender to the supreme protector.
