māmeva ciṃtayennityaṃ paramātmānamātmani | viśuddhe nirvikāre vai brahmasākṣiṇamavyayam
常にただ我のみ—至上のアートマン—を己の内なるアートマンにおいて観想せよ。完全に清浄で、真に不変にして不滅、ブラフマンの証人たる実在である。
Lord Shiva
Tattva Level: pati
Shiva Form: Sadāśiva
Role: liberating
It instructs the seeker to internalize Shiva as the Paramatman—pure, changeless, and imperishable—realized through steady meditation on the witnessing consciousness that underlies all experience.
Linga and Saguna worship help focus the mind and purify devotion, culminating in the inner recognition of Shiva as the formless, changeless Witness (nirvikara) spoken of here.
A daily practice of dhyāna: quiet contemplation on Shiva within the heart as the Witness, supported by japa of the Panchakshara (Om Namaḥ Śivāya) and purity disciplines such as vibhuti (Tripundra) and Rudraksha when appropriate.
