Suta Goswami

It presents the Shaiva ideal that true Vedānta culminates in humility and devotion: hearing the highest teaching produces surrender (daṇḍavat praṇāma) and constant absorption at the Lord’s lotus-feet, symbolized by the “bee” drinking their bliss.
Though expressed as devotion to the Lord’s feet, it supports Saguna upāsanā: the devotee clings to a tangible focus (pāda-aravinda/Śiva-tattva revealed through the guru/deity). Such devoted fixation purifies the soul (paśu) and loosens bondage (pāśa), leading toward realization of Pati (Śiva).
Repeated daṇḍavat praṇāma (full prostration) with inward surrender, followed by steady remembrance—japa of a Shaiva mantra (especially the Panchākṣarī, “Om Namaḥ Śivāya”) while mentally dwelling at the Lord’s lotus-feet in bhakti and contemplation.
