वासुदेवोऽनिरुद्धश्च ततस्संकर्षणः परः । प्रद्युम्नश्चेति विख्यातं स्थितिचक्रमनुत्तमम्
vāsudevo'niruddhaśca tatassaṃkarṣaṇaḥ paraḥ | pradyumnaśceti vikhyātaṃ sthiticakramanuttamam
「ヴァースデーヴァ（Vāsudeva）とアニルッダ（Aniruddha）、ついで至上のサンカルシャナ（Saṅkarṣaṇa）、そしてプラデュムナ（Pradyumna）—これぞ無上の維持の輪（sthiti-chakra）として名高い。」シャイヴァ（Śaiva）の立場では、かかる保持の力は主の統御のうちに働くが、シヴァはあらゆる輪を超えた超越の主（Pati）として在す。
