彼らは塗り、飾り、儀礼をことごとく整える。甘味をもって味わい、さらに豊かに塗りつける。流れのふくらむ息づかいの中で、黄金の浄め手は、水のうちに、疾走する牡牛――供犠の獣――をつかみ取る。

先駆けゆく王はまことに讃えられるべき者。日々を量る者として、諸世界に据えられた。黄褐の者は、ギー（ghṛta）のごとき富を滴らせ、見目うるわしく、満ちあふれる大洪水。光を車（jyotīrathaḥ）として、みずからを清めつつ流れ、富のため、家（okyaḥ）のために。
