किमस्य मदे किम्वस्य पीताविन्द्रः किमस्य सख्ये चकार । रणा वा ये निषदि किं ते अस्य पुरा विविद्रे किमु नूतनासः ॥
Transliteration
kím asya máde kímv asya pītā́v índraḥ kím asya sakhyé cakāra | raṇā́ vā yé niṣádi kím te asya purā́ vívidre kím u nū́tanāsaḥ ||
Translation
彼の恍惚（mada）の秘めごとは何か。彼の歓喜の飲み（pītā）は何か。友誼（sakhya）によってインドラは何を成し遂げたのか。戦いに近く坐す者（niṣadi）たちは古より彼について何を見いだしたのか——そして今、新たな求道者たちは何を見いだすのか。
