प्र यत्सिन्धवः प्रसवं यथायन्नापः समुद्रं रथ्येव जग्मुः । अतश्चिदिन्द्रः सदसो वरीयान्यदीं सोमः पृणति दुग्धो अंशुः ॥
prá yát síndhavaḥ pra-saváṃ yáthā́yan ā́paḥ samudráṃ rathyèva jagmúḥ | atáś cid índraḥ sádaso várīyān yád īṃ sómaḥ pṛṇáti dúgdhó aṃśúḥ ||
河々が促される流れに従って前進し、水が道の上の戦車のように海へ赴くとき——そのことによってさえ、インドラは集会の座よりも広大となる。搾り出されたソーマ(Soma)—輝く茎の汁—が彼を満たすときに。
