अर्चामि वां वर्धायापो घृतस्नू द्यावाभूमी शृणुतं रोदसी मे । अहा यद्द्यावोऽसुनीतिमयन्मध्वा नो अत्र पितरा शिशीताम् ॥
Transliteration
arcā́mi vāṃ vardhā́yāpo ghṛtasnū́ dyā́vābhūmī śṛṇutáṃ rodasī me | ahā́ yád dyā́vo 'sú-nītim áyan mádhvā no átra pitarā́ śiśītām ||
Translation
われは汝らの増大のために讃歌をうたう。澄明なる光（ghṛta）を滴らす水よ、天と地よ、わが呼び声を聴け、二つの世界（rodasī）よ。光り輝く天が生命の息の導きをもたらすとき、ここに二人の父（pitarā）よ、われらのために甘美を研ぎ澄ませよ—内なる供儀を鋭く、成就させよ。
