दिवश्चिदस्य वरिमा वि पप्रथ इन्द्रं न मह्ना पृथिवी चन प्रति । भीमस्तुविष्माञ्चर्षणिभ्य आतपः शिशीते वज्रं तेजसे न वंसगः ॥

diváś cid asya varimā́ ví papratha índraṃ na mahnā́ pṛthivī́ caná práti | bhīmás tuvíṣmān carṣaṇí-bhya ātapáḥ śiśīte vájraṃ téjase na váṃsagaḥ ||

天の広がりさえ、彼の広大さによって押しひらかれる。大地もまた、その偉力をもってしては測り得ない。恐るべく、圧倒的な力を具え、彼は人の諸界に灼熱して臨む。彼は金剛(vajra)を、意識の炎のために研ぎ澄まし、鍛冶が金属を磨いて輝く刃とするがごとし。
