वानराणांश्चहृष्टानांसिंहनादःसुपुष्कलः ।।।।स्पोटयन्निवशब्देनलङ्कांसाट्टालगोपुराम् ।महेन्द्रेणेवदेवानांनादस्समभवन्महान् ।।।।
vānarāṇāṃ ca hṛṣṭānāṃ siṃhanādaḥ supuṣkalaḥ | spoṭayann iva śabdena laṅkāṃ sāṭṭālagopurām | mahendreṇeva devānāṃ nādaḥ samabhavan mahān ||
歓喜するヴァーナラたちは、あふれんばかりの獅子吼を轟かせた。その激しい響きは、高楼の露台と城門を備えたランカーを揺るがすかのようであった。さらにデーヴァたちの間にも、まるでマヘーンドラ(インドラ)が臨在するかのごとく、大いなる歓呼が起こった。
Then with his arrows, that Rakshasa (Mahaparsva) shattered the arms of some, shoulders of some, sides, and ribs of some Vanaras.
Righteous struggle generates shared courage: when dharma is defended, collective morale rises, and even the cosmos (devas as witnesses) is portrayed as responding.
After the enemy champion falls, the vānaras celebrate loudly; the sound reverberates through Laṅkā and is echoed by the gods.
Unity and spirited confidence in a just cause—communal strength (saṅgha-bala).
