सप्तनवतितमः सर्गः (Yuddha Kāṇḍa 97): Sugrīva’s Onslaught and the Fall of Virūpākṣa
स तदा स हसोत्पत्यराक्षसस्यमहाहवे ।मुष्टिंसन्वर्त्यवेगेनपातयामासवक्षसि ।।।।
sa tadā sahasotpatya rākṣasasya mahāhave | muṣṭiṃ saṃvartya vegena pātayāmāsa vakṣasi ||
その大合戦のただ中で、彼はたちまち跳び起き、拳を握りしめ、勢いよく羅刹の胸を打ち据えた。
Then in that great war, Sugriva getting up at once whirling his fist, hit (Virupaksha) him on the chest.
Righteous leadership in war includes rising again after a setback and protecting one’s side through decisive action against aggressors.
Sugrīva recovers immediately after being struck and counters by punching Virūpākṣa in the chest.
Utsāha (indomitable energy) and dhairya (fortitude) in the face of injury.
