Transliteration

adya madbāṇa-nirbhinnaiḥ prakīrṇair gata-cetanaiḥ |

karomi vānarair yuddhe yatnāvīkṣya-talāṁ mahīm ||6.96.19||

Translation

「今日この戦において、我が矢に裂かれ命を失ったヴァーナラどもを地に散り敷かせ、地面そのものが辛うじて見えるほどにしてやろう」――（ラーヴァナは言った）。
