「今日、我は戦車に乗り、風のごとく疾く、我が弓という海より湧き上がる矢の波濤で、ヴァーナラの軍勢をかき回し、粉砕してみせよう」――ラーヴァナは宣言した。
"Seated on the chariot I shall knock out the Vanara army by the waves in the form of arrows released from the ocean of my bow."
Power and speed are ethically neutral; the Ramayana evaluates them by alignment with satya and dharma. Rāvaṇa’s imagery shows might employed for unjust ends.
Rāvaṇa imagines overwhelming the vānara host through relentless archery while charging in his chariot.
The implied virtue is steadfast service (sevā) and loyalty to righteousness in the vānara ranks, contrasted with Rāvaṇa’s misuse of capability.
