adya vānarasainyāni rathena pavanaujasā | dhanuḥ-samudrād udbhūtair mathiṣyāmi śarormibhiḥ ||6.96.14||

Translation

「今日、我は戦車に乗り、風のごとく疾く、我が弓という海より湧き上がる矢の波濤で、ヴァーナラの軍勢をかき回し、粉砕してみせよう」――ラーヴァナは宣言した。
