太陽が沈めば光の筋が留まらぬように、彼が倒れるや、あの羅刹たちは方角も失い、四方へ散り去った。
Just as Sun rays go away as soon as the Sun sets in the evening, the Rakshasas also went in all directions seeing Indrajith fallen.
Dharma is enduring like the sun’s lawful course; adharma-based power is transient—when its ‘sun’ sets, its ‘rays’ (followers) vanish.
A poetic comparison explains how swiftly the Rākṣasas dispersed once Indrajit fell.
Discernment (viveka): recognizing the impermanence of fear-based power and the stability of righteousness.
