परस्वहरणेयुक्तंपरदाराभिमर्शकम् ।।6.87.22।।त्याज्यमाहुर्दुरात्मानंवेश्मप्रज्वलितंयथा ।
parasvaharaṇe yuktaṃ paradārābhimarśakam || 6.87.22 || tyājyam āhur durātmānaṃ veśma prajvalitaṃ yathā |
他人の財を奪い、他人の妻を汚すことに耽る者——その邪悪な心の者は、燃えさかる家のように捨て去るべきだと人は言う。
"The association of one who has renounced righteousness and is of sinful deeds is left by a righteous man who undoubtedly attains happiness, is like shaking of a venomous serpent from the hand."
Dharma demands rejection of grave wrongs—stealing and violating another’s spouse—by distancing oneself from the wrongdoer as from immediate danger.
Vibhīṣaṇa lists concrete adharma to explain why separation from Ravana’s conduct is necessary.
Moral clarity and protective detachment—treating adharma as a ‘burning house’ to be exited.
