एवमुक्त्वातुसौमित्रिंजातहर्षोविभीषणः ।धनुष्पाणिंनमादायत्वरमाणोजगामसः ।।6.87.1।।

evam uktvā tu saumitriṃ jāta-harṣo vibhīṣaṇaḥ | dhanuṣ-pāṇiṃ tam ādāya tvaramāṇo jagāma saḥ ||6.87.1||

こうしてサウミトリーに告げると、ヴィビーシャナは歓びの決意に満ち、弓を手に備えるラクシュマナを伴って、急ぎ出立した。
