王よ、この悲嘆を捨ててください。起こったのは虚しい苦悩にすぎません。この憂いを払いなさい――それは敵の喜びを増すだけです。
"O great Lord! Hear me, which is yet to be submitted by me to you. You are afflicted without cause and pained at heart."
Dharma requires mastery over debilitating grief; a leader must not feed despair that weakens righteous resolve and empowers adharma.
Vibhīṣaṇa urges Rāma to relinquish anxiety, warning that such sorrow benefits the opposing side.
Steadfastness (dhairya) and strategic clarity—maintaining inner composure for the sake of justice and the community.
