नानाप्रहरणैर्वीरैश्चतुर्भिस्सचिवैर्वृत: ।नीलाञ्जनचयाकारैर्मातङ्गैरिवयूथप ।।।।

Transliteration

nānāpraharaṇair vīraiś caturbhiḥ sacivair vṛtaḥ |

nīlāñjanacayākārair mātaṅgair iva yūthapa ||

Translation

さまざまな武器を携えた四人の勇将たる大臣に囲まれ、まるで群れの象王が黒々とした（コールの色の）牙ある象たちに取り巻かれるように、ヴィビーシャナは大いなる心のラーマに近づき、涙にかすむ目をしたヴァーナラの軍勢を見た。
