लङ्कादाह-प्रचोदनं तथा वानर-राक्षस-समरारम्भः

तेषुवानरमुखेषुदीप्तोल्कोज्ज्वलपाणिषु ।स्थितेषुद्वारमासाद्यरावणंमन्युराविशत् ।।।।
teṣu vānaramukheṣu dīptolkāujjvalapāṇiṣu | sthiteṣu dvāram āsādya rāvaṇaṃ manyur āviśat ||
ヴァーナラの首領たちが、燃えさかる松明で手を輝かせつつ門に到り、そこに堅く陣取ったとき、ラーヴァナは怒りに呑まれた。
