そのとき偉大なる羅刹の王は、太陽のごとく輝く鋭い矢の群れで四方を覆い、ヴァーナラの将たちを打ち倒した。
Thereafter the mighty Lord of Rakshasas despatched volley of sharp tipped arrows bright like the Sun, at Vanara leaders on all sides and eradicated.
Leadership is shown as a focal point of conflict: the fall of leaders tests an army’s commitment to duty; dharma is measured by steadiness even when commanders are targeted.
Indrajit intensifies the assault, saturating the battlefield with arrows and hitting prominent Vanara chiefs.
The verse emphasizes relentless martial force; indirectly it sets up the Vanaras’ need for courage and cohesion under pressure.
