「今こそラーマとラクシュマナを見よ。私の矢によって体は引き裂かれ、命は尽き、地面に横たわり、あらゆる手足が鋭い矢で覆われている。」
"Now you will see Rama along with Lakshmana also, their body torn into pieces along with their army their life ceased, lying on the ground pierced with arrows all over the limbs."
The verse illustrates the adharma of boastful triumphalism and the fragility of ‘victory’ when it depends on deception or pride rather than truth (satya).
Indrajit speaks boastfully, describing Rāma and Lakṣmaṇa as if slain and strewn with arrows.
Rāma and Lakṣmaṇa’s steadfastness is implied by their centrality as targets; Indrajit’s speech foregrounds pride (mada), a vice opposed to dharmic restraint.
