इन्द्रजितः ब्रह्मास्त्र-यागः तथा वानरसेनाविध्वंसः

ततोहतांस्तान् सहसानिशम्यराजामुमोहपरिप्लुताक्षः ।पुत्रक्षयंभ्रातृवधं च घोरंविचिन्त्यराजाविपुलंप्रदध्यौ ।।।।
tato hatāṃs tān sahasā niśamya rājā mumūha pariplutākṣaḥ | putrakṣayaṃ bhrātṛvadhaṃ ca ghoraṃ vicintya rājā vipulaṃ pradadhyau ||
そのとき王は、彼らがたちまち討たれたと聞くや気を失い、目は涙に満ちあふれた。子を失うこと、そして兄弟が殺されたという恐るべき事を思いめぐらし、王は深く重い思索に沈んだ。
