कुम्भकर्णप्रस्थानम् तथा अङ्गदप्रेरणा
Kumbhakarna’s sortie and Angada’s rallying of the Vanaras
साधुसौम्या निवर्तध्वंकिप्राणान्परिरक्षथ ।नालंयुद्धायवैरक्षोमहतीयंबिभीषका ।।।।
sādhu saumyā nivartadhvaṁ kiṁ prāṇān parirakṣatha | nālaṁ yuddhāya vai rakṣo mahatīyaṁ bibhīṣikā ||
善良なる者たちよ、落ち着いて引き返しなさい。なぜそれほど必死に命に執着するのか?この羅刹は真に戦うに値しない。彼はただ見るに恐ろしいだけの存在だ。
"O good Vanaras! You are modest. Return. Why are you protecting your life? This Rakshasa is not capable of facing war. He can create only fear."
Dharma requires discernment and steadiness: do not abandon rightful action merely due to frightening appearances.
Aṅgada urges the frightened Vānaras to return, reframing Kumbhakarṇa as more terrifying in appearance than invincible in combat.
