そのとき、梵天の呪詛に圧されて彼は主の御前に倒れ伏した。すると大いに動揺したラーヴァナは、次の言葉を述べた。
"Thereafter, by the curse of Lord Brahma, Kumbhakarna fell in front. Highly agitated at this Ravana spoke these words to Brahma."
Actions invite consequences; divine or lawful restraint manifests when wrongdoing becomes intolerable, demonstrating the moral causality upheld in the epic.
Kumbhakarṇa collapses under Brahmā’s pronouncement, and Rāvaṇa reacts with distress and begins to petition Brahmā.
Reverence for higher authority is implied by the scene of falling before Brahmā, even among antagonists.
